Katakanu Hire at Loch Tay
A great way to explore Loch Tay.
Katakanus are 6-seater twin-hulled canoes – they require at least 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 older children to paddle them.
They are ideal for exploring Loch Tay independently and can be hired for a half or full day. The hire cost includes buoyancy aids for everyone, paddles and dry bags if you need them. We recommend pre-booking these boats to guarantee availability. They are hired from In Your Element activity office on the shoreline next to The Boathouse Restaurant.

Paddle Sports Hire
Should you prefer to explore Loch Tay independently, we also offer canoe, sit-on-top kayak and SUP hire from April until October. These CANNOT be booked online as they are subject to fair weather conditions and staff availability.
They are hired on a first come, first served basis from their activity office on the beach, opposite The Boathouse Restaurant.
