Self-Drive Boat Hire at Loch Tay

Loch Tay Highland Lodges have 2 types of boat available to hire for pleasure trips on the Loch.

Pebble Boats have a 4hp outboard engine and are tiller-steered from the engine itself.  These have a max. carrying capacity of 4 people and are fine for a slow potter around the loch.

Loch Cruisers have 10hp engines, a max. capacity of 6 people and have a steering console at the cabin, so much more intuitive.  Given the bigger engine, these are a better bet for really exploring Loch Tay for its beauty and sightseeing.

No fishing is allowed from these boats without permits. If you would like to fish while on the water please click here

Hire costs include buoyancy aids (compulsory for all) and fuel.

Customers must arrive 10 minutes before the start time for their session. Failure to arrive at the designated start time may result in your hire being cancelled without refund.
