St Andrews

St Andrew’s is in easy reach. With two miles of uninterrupted beach, backed by dunes and the world-renowned golf courses, it’s the perfect place for a bracing walk.


Boasting museums, fascinating ruins and the world’s third oldest English-speaking university, it’s definitely worth a trip.

Wildlife Wonders

Visible from our holiday park, the beautiful Isle of May is a national sanctuary for seabirds and there are several leisure trips across, providing the opportunity to view some of Scotland’s wildlife in their natural habitat.


Slightly further afield is Edinburgh Zoo, just over an hour’s drive from Sauchope Park and dubbed the largest and most exciting wildlife attraction in Scotland.


Slightly closer to home, Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park, promises a wild day out for all the family. From the Wildlife Animal Reserves to the Adventure Playground, there is plenty of fun and excitement to be had.

Historic Castles

A short walk from Sauchope Holiday Park is the historic Kellie Castle, which dates from as early as the 14th century. With magnificent plaster ceilings, painted panelling and fine furniture designed by Sir Robert Lorimer, this understated castle a must see.


Jump in the car and discover Scone Palace, a 5-star historic house which was the crowning site for 42 Kings of Scotland including Macbeth. Spend time uncovering the palace’s magnificent interiors, priceless collections and wooded grounds, as well as a unique Murray Star Maze. There are even animals and a gift shop to keep the children entertained.

Rainy Day Fun

For days when the weather isn’t in your favour, visit St Andrews Aquarium. Nestled on St Andrews’ dramatic north facing cliffs, less than half an hour from our holiday park, the aquarium boasts one of the finest coastal locations in Scotland.


Back on land, head underground into Scotland’s Secret Bunker to discover one of Scotland's best kept secrets for over 40 years. Hidden beneath a Scottish farmhouse, a secret tunnel leads to 24,000 square feet of secret subterranean accommodation 100 feet underground! Explore the twilight world of the veterans who lived their during the Cold War as you delve into the bunker, which started life as a radar station operated by the RAF.

Fife Coastal Path

Follow the winding Fife Coastal Path, which runs right past Sauchope Links Holiday Park, and discover some of Scotland’s most breathtaking scenery on foot. Stretching for over 100 miles, the path links picturesque fishing villages, dramatic cliffs, sandy beaches, and hidden coves, making every walk an adventure.


Whether you’re looking for a gentle stroll to Crail Harbour or a more challenging hike towards Anstruther or St Andrews, the route offers something for all abilities.


With wildlife spotting, fresh sea air, and endless photo opportunities, it’s one of the best ways to experience the East Neuk of Fife during your stay.
