Golden Days

There are holiday homes, and then there are these. Places where the view from your morning coffee is a loch stretching into the Highlands, or where you can step from your private decking straight onto a sandy shore. Luxury lodge ownership in Scotland has long held a certain magic — but within the Largo Leisure Prestige Collection, two properties take that magic to a different level entirely.
One sits on the front line of Loch Tay, one of only two lodges on the entire park with that address. The other is a brand-new 2025 model, perfectly positioned at our coastal park in Fife — with no site fees to pay until 2028. Both are genuinely rare. Both are available now.
If you've been thinking about owning your own Scottish retreat — a place that belongs to you through every season, every anniversary, every quiet weekend when the world needs shutting out — read on.

Positioned directly on the water's edge at Loch Tay Highland Lodges in Perthshire, the 2024 Largo Lochside is one of only two lodges on the park with this address. Wake up to uninterrupted panoramic views across the loch and the surrounding Highlands. Step out onto your private enclosed decking and watch the light shift across the water. Come evening, gather around the log burner as the glens settle into dusk.
Inside, this is a lodge that rewards time spent in it. The open-plan living space is filled with natural light, the fully fitted kitchen has integrated appliances, and both bedrooms are generously sized — each with its own en-suite, so there's never any compromise on privacy or comfort. Sleeps 4 across two bedrooms, two bathrooms.
Loch Tay itself stretches 14 miles through the heart of Highland Perthshire — one of Scotland's most beloved inland waters. From the park, owners enjoy rare access to private mooring opportunities, making this a true gateway to lochside living. Whether you're casting a line at dawn, taking to the water by boat, or simply walking the shoreline paths, the loch is yours to savour, season after season.
The village of Killin is just 6 miles away, offering local shops, cafes, and the spectacular Falls of Dochart. Aberfeldy, with its acclaimed whisky distillery and independent restaurants, is a 30-minute drive.
Brand new for 2025 and perfectly positioned at Sauchope Links Holiday Park on the Fife coast, the Willerby Boston is a lodge that earns its place in the Prestige Collection on every count. Its sleek exterior — cladding-finished, crisp white double-glazed windows — gives a first impression that the interior more than lives up to.
Step inside and the design intent is immediately clear. The open-plan lounge and dining space centres on two freestanding sofas, dark oak furniture, and a palette of blush-pink and graphite accents — timeless and considered, not a show home cliché. Sliding patio doors create the kind of indoor-outdoor flow that makes a coastal lodge feel genuinely alive, whatever the season. The kitchen comes fully equipped with integrated fridge, cooker, and microwave, with the option to add a washer/dryer and dishwasher — everything you need for unlimited, independent stays.
The master bedroom offers a king-size bed, walk-in wardrobe, en-suite, and thoughtful storage throughout. A second twin bedroom makes it ideal for couples who like to host friends or family, or for those who simply want the flexibility of a guest room. Sleeps 4 across two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Sauchope Links sits near the village of Crail in the East Neuk of Fife — one of Scotland's most cherished coastal stretches. The coastal path winds through a string of stone-built fishing villages: Anstruther, Pittenweem, St Monans. St Andrews, with its world-famous golf courses and cathedral ruins, is 12 miles north. Edinburgh is a comfortable 90-minute drive, making this equally suited to long weekend escapes and extended stays alike.

Owning a holiday home is a deeply personal decision. Many of our owners tell us it was the feeling they had on their first visit that sealed it — the sense that this was somewhere they'd want to return to, again and again, for years to come. That's what we want every viewing to feel like.
Both Loch Tay Highland Lodges and Sauchope Links are carefully managed parks, where the setting, the community, and the quality of the experience are maintained to the same high standard year-round. The Prestige Collection exists because we believe that luxury lodge ownership in Scotland should mean something — not just a beautiful lodge, but a beautiful place to put it.
To explore the full range of ownership opportunities at both parks, visit our Prestige Collection ownership page. And if you'd like to arrange a viewing of either lodge, our team would love to show you around.
What does it actually mean to own a holiday lodge in Scotland — do I own the land?
With holiday lodge ownership, you own the lodge itself and lease the pitch it sits on from the park. This is the standard model across Scotland's holiday park industry and is a well-established, legally secure arrangement. Our team is happy to walk you through the full details of the agreement at either park.
What does "no site fees until 2028" mean for the Willerby Boston at Sauchope Links?
It means that if you purchase this lodge now, you won't pay annual site fees until 2028 — giving you three years of ownership with that cost removed. It's a significant saving and a genuinely rare incentive on a brand-new holiday home. Speak to our team for full details on what's included.
Can I rent out my lodge when I'm not using it?
Some Largo Leisure owners do choose to sub-let their lodge when it's not in personal use, which can help offset running costs. We'd encourage you to discuss your intentions with our team, as terms can vary by park and pitch agreement.
How long is the season at Loch Tay and Sauchope Links?
Both parks offer extended seasons, allowing owners to enjoy Scotland across a generous sweep of the year — from the first signs of spring through to the golden light of autumn. Contact us for the current season dates at each park.
How do I arrange a viewing of either lodge?
Simply get in touch with our team and we'll arrange a time that suits you. There's no pressure and no obligation — just a chance to see the lodges, walk the parks, and picture yourself there. We think that's usually all it takes.
