This deep impressive loch is home to an array of fish species including salmon, pike, rainbow trout, brown trout, roach and arctic char. The trout season generally runs from 15th March – 6th October with salmon fishing in Loch Tay from 15th January – 15th October. Hire one of our boats to find your own secret spot or visit one of the local angling clubs to secure a permit or try fly fishing.

On the banks of the pretty river Earn, Braidhaugh is the ideal spot for anglers. The river is known for its trout and salmon fishing with several popular fishing spots close by. Permits are available from our reception so all you need to do is find your perfect spot to sit and try your luck. With an array of bird life, beautiful scenery and plenty of peace, fishing holidays in Scotland don’t get much better.

With easy access to the Forth of Firth as well as the East Fife coast, these fishing holidays in Scotland provide a variety of angling.
