We were absolutely thrilled to discover that National Geographic had named the Scottish Highlands as one of their ‘Best of the World’ destinations for 2023. Shortlisted in the nature category, alongside Botswana and Slovenia, the Scottish Highlands were one of only two UK destinations to make the annual list. And here in the UK, Scotland has topped the most-searched for holiday destination list too, so come and see for yourself what all the fuss is about and book a stay at one of our four Scottish holiday parks.

Loch Tay

There's so much to explore

Outstandingly beautiful, Highlands have long lured those needing to recharge; losing themselves in fresh air, gorgeous walks and incredible landscapes. A magical place of majestic lochs, deep rivers, dramatic mountains and secluded glens, the Scottish Highlands are completely alluring. Stay with us at Loch Tay and you’ll find yourself surrounded by this acclaimed region, marvelling at their undeniable beauty right from your doorstep or private hot tub.

The breath-taking Scottish scenery never ceases to amaze, reaching endlessly before you - the region is in fact the largest in Scotland spanning nearly 10,000 square miles, so it’s little wonder many fondly refer to it as one of the last great wildernesses in Europe. This vast uninhabited stretch of space has lured a phenomenal array of wildlife, including deers, golden eagles, pine martens, red squirrels, the Scottish Wildcat and the classic Highland cow! Spend days wildlife watching, walking, cycling or exploring on horseback; climb steep mountains then watch as they cascade into lochs before returning to one of our four gorgeous holiday parks.

Scotland is also where you can find the UK’s highest mountain range offering amazing hiking during the warmer months and skiing during the winter. Base yourself with us at Loch Tay and enjoy plenty of outdoor fun all year-round, from ski-ing to sailing. But don’t just take our word for it, come and see for yourself just why Scotland is topping so many lists.
