March to July 2020, what an unbelievable turn of events. Schools closed, shops shut and holidays cancelled. We’re out of lockdown and self catering accommodation is opening back up. With all the uncertainty surrounding foreign travel in 2020 we think it will be the year of the staycation.

Some might argue that staycation is staying in your own home and doing activates from there but with holidays abroad so common, the idea of staying in the same country to take a weeks holiday seems ‘foreign’ to some people.
Now is the perfect time to explore your Scotland and Loch Tay Highland Lodges is a perfect base to do just that. We’re far enough away from the central belt to feel like you’re really getting away, we’re at the edge of the Highlands and the scenery will not disappoint!
