Things to do when staying at Letham Feus Holiday Park

Our pretty park, Letham Feus, with its breath-taking views across the Forth of Firth, is the perfect place to really relax and recharge. Peace, tranquillity, and beautiful surroundings are guaranteed here, and we know how tempting it could be to spend your whole holiday on your veranda happily admiring the beautiful vistas, but another of the great things about this quaint little park is its location and the fantastic things to see and do in the area.

There's so much to explore

Largo Law

This stunning peak is the 10th highest in Fife. The walk is split into 3 sections with the ascent to the top taking approx. 4.5 hours, but you are highly rewarded with fantastic views that stretch for miles. (10-minute drive)

Scoonie Golf Course

This picturesque parkland golf course has panoramic views across the Forth Estuary. It’s 18 holes provide challenges for both low and high handicappers and also has its own onsite licensed bar and restaurant. (10-minute drive)

Falkland Palace and Gardens

A Royal Palace built by the Scottish Stuart Kings and a place loved by Mary Queen of Scots. The Palace is set in beautiful grounds in a quaint little village with lots of lovely cafés and tea rooms. (15-minute drive)

Scottish Deer Centre

A fun day out for all the family. The centre has 12 species of deer and animals that are long lost from the Scottish countryside, including the Larynx. There is also a nearly extinct Wildcat as well as a European Brown Bear. There’s plenty for everyone to see and do here and the indoor and outdoor play areas are a big hit with the kids. (15-minute drive)

Fife Zoo, Cupar

A small local zoo with 45 different animals from more than 15 different species including Meerkats and Lemurs to name a few. The zoo also offers some fantastic animal experiences where you can learn about and feed your furry favourite. (15-minute drive)

Anstruther

Drive along the East Coast to the beautiful village of Anstruther, a tiny wee fishing village with an Award-winning chippy. Enjoy a bag of chips while you walk along the harbour watching the local fishermen bringing in their catch of the day. (20-minute drive)

Craigtoun Country Park

First opened in the 19th Century, this extensive park has lots to do and the perfect picnic place for a day out. You can visit ‘Puffin Billy’ the vintage tractor, take a ride on the miniature railway or sail across to the ‘Dutch Village’ by rowing boat or pedalo.  (30-minute drive)

St Andrews

Famously known as a golfer’s paradise with its world-renowned golf course but St Andrews actually has a lot more to offer than just golf. There is something for every member of the family here from a Castle, ancient Abbey ruins, swimming pool, beautiful beaches, to marine life adventures at the aquarium. (30-minute drive)

Haunted Ghost Tours, Edinburgh

If ghosts and ghouls are your thing, then this is perfect for you! There are many different ghost tours on offer in the historical city of Edinburgh. (50-minute drive)

Scotch Whiskey The Experience, Edinburgh

The perfect journey through the world of Scotch whisky. This experience is a must for all whisky lovers. Here you can learn all there is to know when it comes to whisky and partake in the popular tasting sessions. (50-minute drive)
