Golden Days

There's a particular magic to camping in Scotland — fresh mountain air, birdsong at first light, and cosying up under a twinkling, starlit sky. With us, though, "camping" comes in two rather different flavours, so it's worth knowing which one you've booked before you pack.
Our heated pods and domes at Sauchope Links, Loch Tay Highland Lodges, Cruachan Farm and Campsie Glen bring all the creature comforts of home to the great outdoors — trendy, weatherproof, and glamping in every sense but the price tag. (No need to pack the tent — unless you're pitching up at Cruachan Farm.) That's our only park with grass pitches for a proper, canvas-and-guy-ropes, back-to-nature stay. Here's what to pack for each.

Peaceful Stays

Think of our pods and domes as your home-from-home under the stars. Heated, insulated, and made up with proper beds, they let you savour the fresh Scottish air and drift off to the sound of the loch or the sea — some even with a wood-fired hot tub waiting outside the door for a soak beneath that twinkling sky.

For the real thing, Cruachan Farm's grass pitches sit a short stroll from the shores of Loch Tay, wrapped in Highland scenery and rural tranquillity — plus the on-site Cruachan Café for a breakfast roll once the tent's up. It's proper, back-to-nature camping, so the kit list runs a little longer.
Take a look at NatureScot's guide to responsible camping in Scotland before you head off, covering everything from stoves to leaving no trace.

Whichever way you like to camp, you'll find it across our parks: browse our camping and glamping accommodation, or head straight to Cruachan Farm if a real tent pitch is what you're after. Bringing the dog? Check our dog-friendly breaks too.
Pod, dome or tent — camping in Scotland with Largo Leisure means waking up to the loch or the coast, with the packing list to match. Choose your style, pack accordingly, and let the rest take care of itself.
