Exciting £350k Caravan Development Officially Launched at Braidhaugh

Largo Leisure Holidays proudly celebrated the official launch of its £350,000 riverside development at Braidhaugh Holiday Park in Crieff, marking a new chapter in the park’s growth and its contribution to local tourism. Depute Provost Councillor Andrew Parrott graced the event on Thursday (12th September) to cut the ribbon and scatter wildflowers in a ceremony filled with excitement and optimism for the future.

The new development introduces 10 luxurious holiday home ownership caravans, catering to those seeking a long-term retreat in the stunning market town. Additionally, the park now boasts four new holiday rental caravans – two two-bedroom models that sleep six, and two three-bedroom models accommodating up to eight guests. With two of these rentals being pet-friendly, the park offers an inclusive option for families traveling with their beloved pets.

This project is a key part of the ongoing investment strategy from Limerston Capital, which acquired Largo Leisure Holidays in March 2022, demonstrating their commitment to enhancing Scottish tourism and supporting local economies.

During the event, Councillor Parrott was given a tour of the new holiday homes before delivering a speech in which he praised the development’s potential to boost tourism and local businesses in Crieff. He said, "It’s been a delight to officially open the new development at Braidhaugh Holiday Park today. This investment offers holidaymakers and holiday home buyers the chance to experience Scotland’s rich heritage, along with its exceptional food and drink. It’s also a tremendous asset to Crieff, drawing in more visitors to support local businesses and attractions. With further plans for Braidhaugh’s growth, the future looks bright for this picturesque town."

Alison Watson, Group Operations Director for Largo Leisure, expressed her pride in the project: "We’re thrilled with the completion of this development. A big thank you to Alex Butler's Contractors, whose outstanding craftsmanship brought this project to life. Braidhaugh Holiday Park is a tranquil escape on the banks of the River Earn, offering peace and serenity while still being just a stone’s throw from the charming town of Crieff, with its lovely shops and fantastic pubs and restaurants. The local support we’ve received today has been heartwarming, and we hope this investment will benefit Crieff as a whole."

With the new caravans now available for booking, visitors can explore this beautiful corner of Scotland and enjoy the comfort of the modern holiday homes. More details about ownership and holiday rentals can be found on the Largo Leisure Holidays website.
