(2-minute drive) The Strathearn Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in Crieff. The gallery is well known for exhibiting original work from leading Scottish artists as well as supporting new and up-and-coming artists through regularly changing exhibitions.

Drummond Castle Gardens

(3-minute drive) Drummond Castle Gardens is one of Europe’s and Scotland’s most important and impressive formal gardens and dates back to the 17th Century. The gardens were redesigned and terraced in the 19th Century.

The formal gardens that you see today were replanted in the 1950s but preserve many of the original features, the ancient yew hedges and the remaining beech tree planted by Queen Victoria, commemorating her visit in 1842. Open seasonally from 1st March – 31st October.

Lady’s Mile Walk

(3-minute drive) Lady Mary’s Walk is a popular route in Crieff which runs along the banks of the River Earn. The picturesque route through woodland and along the banks of the River Earn features an avenue of mature oak, beech, lime and sweet chestnut trees.

(5-minute drive) Action Glen is all about outdoor experiences and with over 900 acres to play in, there's a lot to experience for all ages and abilities.

Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre

(11-minute drive) The Centre enjoys a great location and is ideal for a day out. There is something for everyone with lots of animals to see, places to discover, things to do and plenty of play areas for the kids to let off steam! There are over 50 species of animals from albino wallabies, meerkats and lemurs to native red deer and Scottish wildcats.


The hatchery with its baby and small animals section offers animal handling and daily hatchings of chicks, quail and ducklings throughout the spring and summer. There is also an indoor soft play area and adventure play barn, outdoor play park, crazy golf, flying fox and pony rides in the summer months. There are various walks, a family fishery (separate fees apply), 2 gift shops and Torlum Mountain View Coffee Shop.
