Guests at Sauchope Links Holiday Park can now enjoy even more reasons to savour their stay in the East Neuk, as two local restaurants have been added to the prestigious Michelin Guide for the UK and Ireland.

Coastal Flavours

Michelin Magic

Fine Dining by the Sea

The newly recognised venues — The Shoregate in Crail and Ondine in St Andrews — shine a spotlight on the East Neuk as a true food lover’s destination, adding to the region’s mix of coastal scenery, fishing villages, sandy beaches, and heritage.

Situated on the edge of Crail, with sweeping views over the Firth of Forth, Sauchope Links now sits at the heart of a region where world-class dining meets seaside charm and outdoor adventure.

Community Pride

“This is such an exciting moment for the East Neuk,” said Rachel Mabbs, Commercial Director at Largo Leisure Holidays.

“To have two Michelin-recognised restaurants right on the doorstep of our park is incredible. It’s not just great for the restaurants themselves, but for the whole community. It will draw more people to experience everything our corner of Fife has to offer and provide our guests with some world-class cuisine to enjoy whilst staying with us.”

Michelin Stars on the Coast

The Shoregate impressed Michelin inspectors with its chic bistro dining and historic inn setting, continuing over a century of hospitality.

Meanwhile, Ondine, located within the restored Seaton House Hotel in St Andrews, delights diners with a seafood-led menu showcasing local produce — lobster, crab, and the classic sole meunière.

Stay, Savour, and Explore

With The Shoregate within walking distance of Sauchope Links and St Andrews just a short coastal drive away, guests can now combine a seaside escape with world-class dining. This perfect pairing firmly places the East Neuk on Scotland’s travel and culinary map.

Excellent lodge accommodation, where we enjoyed a fabulous family break.

Staff were very friendly, and kids loved using the hot tub. Dog friendly too.
