Scotland is world-renowned for its incredible scenery, and there is no better way to truly explore than on foot. Here are some of our favourite walks you can enjoy from our parks.

The gorgeous woodland located behind the park is ripe for exploring with plenty of tracks and trails to meander. Dogs are free to run about off-lead, making it ideal for walking holidays in Scotland with your beloved pet. The Fife coastal path is also close-by as are circular walks, including a 6.5 mile circular route between Leven and Lundin Links. From forest to the sea, Letham Feus offers the best of both.

Follow Lady Mary’s route along the banks of the peaceful River Earn, get your pulse racing with a hiking adventure scaling the Munros or a steady hike on The Hosh Circuit. There are also several circular routes encompassing everything from riverside ambles to Victorian parks and mountain paths.

Perfectly placed for walkers looking to explore the stunning Campsie Fells. Just steps from the park, you can enjoy the Campsie Glen Walk along the Kirk Burn to a picturesque waterfall, or take the Glen Burn Waterfall Loop, a gentle 4.5 km trail perfect for all abilities. History and views combine on the Crichton’s Cairn Loop, while more adventurous hikers can tackle the Cort-ma-Law Summit for panoramic vistas.

Voted one of the must-see destinations for 2023 by National Geographic, walking holidays in Scotland are not complete without a trip here. There are numerous trails and hikes right on our doorstep from gentle walks around the majestic Loch Tay to more strenuous routes up to the summits of Ben Lawers National Reserve, including to the top of Ben Lawers itself.

From here you can enjoy gentle walks into Crail where you can access the Fife Coastal Path, following the gentle Fife Ness circular trail. This popular route takes in Kilminning Nature Reserve, passing the former Coast Guard Station and Crail Golfing Society before returning back to Crail. Experienced walks will enjoy the longer 14 mile route all the way to St Andrews, this route can be accessed directly from Sauchope Links and follows the coast path most of the way.

Cruachan Farm Holiday Park is ideally located for exploring the natural beauty of the Scottish Highlands on foot. Adventurous hikers can tackle the Cruachan Reservoir Circular Walk, climbing two Munros for spectacular panoramic views, while the Cruachan Dam Trail offers a moderate 2.3-mile route with stunning scenery and a glimpse of the impressive hydroelectric station. For a gentler experience, the Tall Trees Trail winds along Loch Awe and through peaceful woodland, passing an ancient Iron Age crannog and towering conifers.
